Microsoft pushes new Firmware upgrades for Surface Pro 3 and 2

Microsoft rolled out a new firmware version for Surface 2 and Surface 3 devices. This firmware brings performance, stability as well as improved graphics performance on Windows 10. As you know, consumers receive any official notifications through windows update panel in their device. Unluckily, the Microsoft new firmware update is not available for all the Windows tablets. Most of the Surface Pro 3 and 2 consumers facing performance issues and graphics problem in their tablets. Moreover, Microsoft’s new update is applicable for only genuine version of Windows 10 and those who were previously upgraded from Windows 7, 8 as well as 8.1

You can check out for new firmware under windows update panel, which is listed as ‘Intel Corporation driver update for Intel (R) HD Graphics Family’. In addition, it can be also called as “HD Graphics Family driver update (v10.18.15.4256) improves graphics performance and stability on Windows 10.” If you don’t any notifications, then check for new updates using alternative method.

All Surface tablet owners will receive updates at the same time and if you do not see any new notification. It is better to go for  manual option to check for  new firmware. All you need to do is, navigate to the Windows Update App which is listed under start menu. Soon after that, access update and security options on setting menu. Tap on ‘Check for updates’ option to manually search for new firmware updates. Once done with it, the device prompts for download and installation of firmware. And now you can easily move on to download v10.18.15.4256 firmware. As soon as installation complete, reboot your Surface Pro tablet. Apart from latest firmware news, the company is set to unveil Lumia 940 940 XL, Xbox mini and Smartband 2 in coming days.
