LG announced a first rollable wireless keyboard for smartphones and tablets. The company itself named as ‘LG Rolly’ with a tagline ‘industry first reliable wireless portable keyboard’. Almost all the portable keyboard is made up of silicon, but not in the case of LG Rolly. The company used ‘polycarbonate and ABS plastic’ that turn a keyboard into stick.
LG Rolly (model name: KBB-700) sporting with 17-mm key pitch, Bluetooth 3.0, AAA battery and supported for device under 10-inch display screen respectively. The keyboard can toggle between 2 paired devices using a single key. In addition, the Rolly has an auto connect function through Bluetooth that ping your device instantly on unfold. The LG’s wireless keyboard is easy to carry from one place to another. The best thing is folded device snug in the pocket while moving around. AAA battery is more enough to stay online up to 3 months of normal usage.
Seo Young-jae, (vice president in charge of Innovative Personal Devices at LG) says, “LG Rolly Keyboard is just one of the many premium input devices we’ll be unveiling in the coming months as we expand our accessories offerings. The goal was to create a product that could add more value to LG smartphones and tablets at the same time offering a unique design proposition that hadn’t been explored before.”
The Rolly wireless keyboard is set to release on September 9 at IFA event, Berlin. Moreover, LG decided to unlock upcoming folding keyboard in four different countries (United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia market). The company has not yet revealed the Rolly price detail, we can expect during on launch. Alongside, LG’s Huawei Nexus features and images purportedly leaked online.
